It was in between their busy session schedule that Ralph Henry, rhythm guitarist, background vocals; Rick Henry, bass guitar, background vocals, band engineer; and Scott Henry, drums; began putting together the tunes that would form the basis for the band's first album. The three brothers recruited lead vocalist Ron Kimball and keyboardist Chris Holmes from the hard-working, popular northern California band, Laser Boy. All six musicians completed the songs and demo tape, which attracted the interest of Scotti Brothers artist and repertoire chief Richie Wise, who has produced hits by Kiss and Stories (Brother Louie).
