If Scotti Brothers debut album by Work Force sounds more accomplished and confident than most first outings, perhaps the answer may lie in part in the band's founders (the three Henry brothers) having owned their own 24-track recording studio for the past ten years. Down a narrow lane on the outskirts of suburban Concord, inside a complex where members of the band also live, is R.O. Studios, the area's top professional studio. Local boy Eddie Money customarily does all the pre-production for his albums at the Henrys' studio, never mind his wisecracks about R.O. standing for "Rancid Overtones", he keeps coming back.
